Process of Ruby Probe & Diamond Cutting of Alloy Wheels
The WRC30 machine is capable of probing the wheel profile automatically. So, the operator does not have to do any programming on the machine for profiling, Now, the machine can go ahead with the cutting of the wheels.
Once the cutting is over, the profile will be stored in the machine. Thus, when you use multiple types of wheels, you can build a large database of wheel profiles. So, next time when you use a wheel that is in the database, the process can be faster. It will help to save your valuable time.
Can you explain the working of the WRC30 wheel repair machine?
First, you need to power ON the machine. Now, the ruby digital probe needs to detect the profile of the alloy wheel.
After successful detection, the wheel surface geometry is converted to G code. Now, the wheel is subjected to diamond cutting with a thickness of 0.05 mm. You may have to repeat this process 2 to 3 times to get the desired results.
