The TVB(A) tub vibratory machine is built around a curved inner wall design that generates three-dimensional media flow — the defining structural difference from straight-wall tub machines. Each design element below directly affects finishing outcome for large, long, or irregularly shaped parts.
The TVB(A)'s curved rear wall creates a rolling media flow pattern that covers all part surfaces uniformly, including concave areas and recesses that flat-wall machines leave under-finished. This geometry is what makes the TVB(A) particularly effective for ball burnishing — the continuous rolling action maintains consistent media-to-part contact without dead zones. The tub body uses heavy-gauge all-welded steel throughout for rigidity under continuous load.
The tub interior is lined with 16 mm polyurethane throughout. PU lining serves two functions in a tub machine: it protects the part surface from steel-on-steel contact during heavy tumbling, and it reduces airborne noise during operation. The lining is replaceable — when wear becomes visible, only the lining is replaced rather than the tub body, significantly reducing long-term maintenance cost.
The TVB(A) runs two motors in parallel — 1.1 kW × 2 on the 240 L model, 2.2 kW × 2 on the 500 L and 750 L models. Dual motors provide balanced vibration across the full tub length, preventing the uneven amplitude that causes inconsistent finish on long parts. Speed is adjustable via a Bosch Rexroth controller, allowing the operator to match vibration frequency to part material and media type without changing hardware.
The TVB(A) is a tub-style vibratory finishing machine designed for parts that cannot be processed in bowl-type machines — specifically long, flat, heavy, or irregularly shaped workpieces. The curved rear wall of the tub creates a three-dimensional media rolling motion that gives more uniform coverage than a straight-wall trough, making the TVB(A) the preferred choice for ball burnishing as well as standard deburring and polishing.
Typical applications include cerakote-coated header polishing, exhaust pipe finishing, engine housing deburring, shaft and tube edge radiusing, and large flat plate descaling. The tub is available in three standard sizes — 240 L, 500 L and 750 L — with custom lengths available on request.

The TVB(A) tub vibratory machine is ideal for surface finishing of long, flat, or delicate parts that are not suitable for bowl-type machines. It can perform deburring, polishing, descaling, and edge radiusing on metal, plastic, or composite workpieces. It’s commonly used in aerospace, automotive, stamping, and precision machining industries.
Yes. The TVB(A) machine is compatible with all standard vibratory tumbling media, including ceramic, plastic, steel, and porcelain media. The choice of media depends on whether you’re aiming for aggressive deburring, light polishing, or smooth surface finishing.
The TVB(A) has a curved rear wall and is optimised for ball burnishing and polishing — the curved geometry drives a rolling media flow that produces brighter, more consistent surface finish, particularly on stainless steel, brass and aluminium parts. The TVB(B) has a straight wall with fixed or removable tub dividers, making it better suited for stone and tile ageing, antique finishing, and applications where parts need to be kept physically separated during processing. If your primary goal is surface brightness or ball burnishing, choose TVB(A). If you need part separation or are processing stone and tile, choose TVB(B).
The TVB(A)240 has a chamber length of 690 mm, suitable for parts up to approximately 600 mm long. The TVB(A)500 extends to 1,310 mm chamber length, accommodating parts up to around 1,200 mm. The TVB(A)750 reaches 2,000 mm chamber length for very long parts such as full exhaust systems, long shafts or structural profiles. All three models share a 670 mm chamber diameter and 524 mm feed entry width. For parts longer than 2,000 mm, contact us for a custom tub length configuration.
