1: 15-inch large LCD display (touchable), separate operation interface, user-friendly design.
2: The automatic wheel hub drawing machine can realize the laser scanning data collection of the wheel surface curve, which can be completed in more than ten seconds.
3: The wire drawing machine is fully automatically optimized according to the actual curve of the wheel hub surface, and the automatic production process is performing precise repair and precision machining.
4: Safe speed and high brightness: The default speed is 350 rpm (the speed can be adjusted), and high brightness is achieved at low speed.
5: It only takes 30 minutes for zero-based personnel to fully master it, and the training time is short, and they can start work in one day.

Economic YN-26 Wheel CNC Lathe Machine — affordable entry-level CNC lathe for alloy wheel diamond-cut refurbishment

The YN-26 is an economic CNC wheel lathe designed for alloy wheel refurbishment up to 25 inches. Where the WRC28 and WRC28VM are built for high-volume or premium applications, the YN-26 is the right machine for workshops adding diamond-cut capability for the first time, or for businesses that need an affordable, compact and easy-to-operate solution without sacrificing the core DC result.

The machine uses laser scanning to map the wheel surface automatically — the complete scan takes more than ten seconds — and the self-developed CNC system generates and optimises the cutting program from the scan data without manual input. Default spindle speed is 350 rpm (adjustable up to 1000 rpm), the complete lathe process can be finished in under ten minutes, and the machine is rated ready to operate within 30 minutes of first-time training. At 1000–1200 kg, it occupies a small floor area and can be installed in workshops where the larger WRC series machines would not fit.

  • Laser scanning probe — full wheel surface mapped automatically in seconds
  • No-programming operation — CNC system generates and optimises the cutting path from scan data
  • 10-minute lathe cycle — fast throughput for high-volume or time-sensitive operations
  • 15″ touchscreen LCD — simple, operator-friendly interface; 30-minute learning curve
  • Compact footprint — 1700×1450 mm (NY-26), fits tight workshop spaces

How the YN-26 machines a wheel

The wheel is mounted on the chuck. The laser scanning system maps the wheel surface in X and Y axes — completed in seconds. The on-board CNC system takes the scan data, generates a fully optimised cutting program automatically, and executes the repair. No operator programming is needed at any stage.

2. Laser scanLaser probe scans the wheel surface in X and Y axes; data collected in seconds
3. Auto programCNC system generates fully optimised cutting path from scan data — no operator input required
4. MachineCutting program executes; full lathe process completes in under 10 minutes
5. LacquerWheel moves to spray booth for clear lacquer protection (separate equipment)

Who the YN-26 is built for

Workshops adding diamond-cut for the first time — the 30-minute operator learning curve, no-programming operation and 15″ touchscreen interface make the YN-26 the lowest-barrier CNC wheel lathe in the Inovatec range. A technician with no prior CNC experience can be producing quality DC results on the same day the machine is commissioned.

Shops with limited floor space — at 1700×1450 mm (NY-26) the YN-26 occupies significantly less space than the WRC28 (2140×1600 mm) or WRC28VM (1500×1820 mm), making it practical for compact workshops or mobile refurbishment units.

Cost-sensitive businesses prioritising payback speed — the lower purchase price, combined with the 10-minute cycle time and minimal operator training cost, makes the YN-26 the fastest-payback entry point into DC wheel refurbishment in the Inovatec range.

Economic YN-26 CNC Lathe – FAQs

1. What does “economic” mean — does this machine compromise on quality?
Economic refers to the purchase price and operational cost, not the quality of output. The YN-26 achieves IT6–IT7 machining accuracy and Ra 0.8–1.6 µm surface finish — the same standard required for a quality diamond-cut result. The cost saving comes from a 6 kW motor (vs 7.5 kW on the WRC28), a 25″ rather than 28″ or 30″ capacity limit, and a simpler structural design that reduces material cost without affecting the output quality on wheels within its range.
2. How does the laser scanning work?
The laser probe scans the wheel surface in X and Y axes, collecting the actual profile data of the wheel face including any damage, deformation or profile variation. The scan completes in seconds. The on-board CNC system then uses this data to generate an optimised cutting path that follows the real wheel geometry — not a standard template — ensuring consistent cut depth and surface quality across the full face of each individual wheel.
3. What is the difference between the NY-26 and NY-26A?
The NY-26 uses a manual tool holder; the operator indexes between tools by hand. The NY-26A uses an automatic tool holder that indexes under CNC control, reducing cycle time when multiple passes with different tools are needed. The NY-26A is slightly heavier (1200 kg vs 1000 kg) and uses a thicker tool holder (25×25×3 mm vs 25×25×2 mm). For high-volume production where fast tool changes matter, the NY-26A is the better choice; for lower volume or cost-priority applications, the NY-26 is sufficient.
4. What wheel size does the YN-26 handle?
The maximum machining hub diameter is 25 inches. This covers the full mainstream passenger car range (14–20″) and the most common SUV fitments (up to 22–24″ on many models). For workshops that regularly process wheels 26″ and above, the WRC28 (28″) or WRC28VM (30″) is the appropriate upgrade.
5. Can an operator with no CNC experience run this machine?
Yes. The machine is designed specifically for operation without CNC programming knowledge. The 15″ touchscreen interface guides the operator through the process; the laser scan and automatic program generation handle the technical steps. Machine documentation states that a completely inexperienced operator can be ready to run within 30 minutes, and can complete a full lathe process in under 10 minutes by the end of the first day.
6. How does the YN-26 compare to the WRC28 and WRC28VM?
The YN-26 is the entry-level, most affordable model, with a 25″ max wheel size and 6 kW motor. The WRC28 handles 28″ wheels on a 7.5 kW horizontal-spindle platform with a ruby probe and Taiwan CNC system — better suited to higher volume or larger wheels. The WRC28VM is the premium model: vertical spindle, 30″ capacity, 7.5 kW motor, TP300 probe and Syntec CNC with full optimisation software. The YN-26 is the right starting point for most first-time DC lathe buyers; the WRC28 and WRC28VM become relevant when wheel size range or throughput volume grows.
7. What power supply is required?
The 6 kW motor requires a three-phase supply. Voltage configuration is confirmed at order stage. The compact footprint (1700×1450 mm for the NY-26) and 1000 kg weight make installation straightforward in most commercial workshop environments.
8. Do you provide export packing and documentation?
Yes. We handle standard export packing and shipping documentation for delivery to 60+ countries. Operation manual and instructional video are supplied with the machine. Contact us to confirm lead time and freight options for your destination.
