An installation guide is essential to ensure the safe and efficient setup of a vibratory finishing machine. It provides step-by-step instructions on machine positioning, electrical connection, PU pad placement, control box setup, and initial startup checks, helping users avoid mistakes, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life.
1. Items Received with the Vibratory Finishing Machine
Upon receiving your vibratory finishing machine, you should find the following items included in the shipment:
Vibratory Finishing Machine
The core equipment used for deburring, polishing, or surface finishing of parts.
Control Box
This may be designed to either:
Stand on the floor, or
Mount on the wall
It includes electrical controls for operating the machine.
Operational Manual
A printed or digital user guide that provides:
Installation instructions
Safety guidelines
Operation procedures
Maintenance and troubleshooting tips
Shaft Tool
A dedicated tool used to open or tighten the machine’s shaft cover during setup or maintenance.
PU Pad (Polyurethane Cushion Pad)
This pad is placed under the machine to:
Reduce the vibration force transmitted to the ground
Improve machine stability during operation
Minimize floor wear and noise

2. Mechanical Installation Steps
Remove Transport Screws and Nuts
Detach all screws and nuts that secure the machine to the shipping pallet.
Remove Shipping Bolts on Springs
Take out the bolts fixed on the springs. These bolts are used to prevent vibration during transport and must be removed before operation.
Connect Machine to Control Box
Use the provided electrical cables to connect the machine’s terminals to the control box.
Connect Control Box to Power Supply
Wire the control box to your facility’s power source, following the wiring diagram in the operation manual.
Check Manual Flip Cover Operation
Test the hand-operated flip cover to ensure it opens and closes smoothly without obstruction.
Inspect the Drain Outlet
Verify that the drain port is clear and not blocked, allowing proper drainage during operation.
3. Electrical Installation & Test Run Procedure
Power On/Off Function Check
Press the “ON/OFF” button on the control panel.
Confirm that the machine powers on and off smoothly without delay or error.
Frequency Control Test
Rotate the “Frequency” dial on the control box.
Check whether the vibration amplitude changes accordingly as you adjust the frequency setting.
Timer Function Test
Set a duration using the “Timer” knob (e.g., 30 minutes).
Start the machine and confirm whether it automatically stops after the set time is reached.
Media and Water Loading Test
Add a proper amount of media to the bowl:
For a 200-liter vibratory machine, load approximately 180 kg of ceramic media.
Add an appropriate amount of tap water into the machine.
Start the machine and observe the media movement direction.
Check Media Flow Direction
The correct media flow should be a rolling motion from the outer wall toward the center.
If the media is rotating incorrectly (e.g., inside to outside), you must reverse the motor rotation direction.
To do this, swap any two UV phase wires inside the control box.
